Remarks
1. It is the best college in Madhya Pradesh for Commerce because of it being autonomous and government owned. 2. Tution timing is very small with only 4 lectures everyday so one gets a lot of free time everyday for other things.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is excellent and at par with any good institute for commerce in India. The course even gets updated every year. All the permanent faculties are excellent and have a great command over subjects. However, only few guest faculties are good in teaching while a few simply don't keep up with the expectations.
Placement Experience
Placements are miserable with only low profile jobs being offered by companies. Job profiles mainly include BPO, Call center jobs, business development roles/sales and marketing roles. Placement percentage is very low with at the most 8-9% of the batch being placed. Personall, I haven't found the alumni network much helpful in any sort.
College Events
There are a plenty of events being organised throughout the year. Participation is only from the students of the institute majorly and no outside students are allowed to take part or even visit during the fest and events. However, the events such as dance competition and singing competition are a bit orthodox regarding the costume, the choice of songs, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Sceme (MMVY) scholarship for full fee waiver is applicable in the institute.
Campus Life
The campus has a decent infrastructure for sports comprising of a football/cricket field, basketball court, badminton court, volleyball court, table tennis, carrom, chess. The campus also has a small gymnasium only for the hostelers. The campus also has a huge library. Only dropback is that the campus does not have hygienic toilets at all as well as no proper auditorium in the entire campus.
