Entrance Preview
I wrote PGCET with microbiology as the subject. I wanted to join in biotechnology hence found that microbiology will be an easy option for writing the entrance exam as it would help getting a nice rank. I got 91 rank. Then I went through the counselling process where I had the options of all the colleges. I chose Osmania University college for women as it is near to my residence and only girls college. The main reason it's a very reputed college with good teaching.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course provided is apt according to syllabus and the faculty is very knowledgeable and research oriented. The course focus on the theory as well as practical with research point of view. Most of the faculty members are doctorate some are even pursuing. The faculty guides to the research point.
Internships Opportunities
No I didn't had any such internship offers.
College Events
They were alumni meets which was on big scale. We had farewell and freshers party. We also had sports day and annual day. All events take place on a grand basis with huge participation from all courses. The prizes are also given to the participants to increase their confidence.
Fees and Financial Aid
The state government provides scholarship to the bc category people. I have availed it.
Campus Life
All kinds of sports were played. Competition were held and winners announced. Workshop were conducted by the respective courses and students take active part. Even students actively participate in cultural activities. Only girls college so no gender discretion.
Alumni/Alumna
Many students join the alumni and actively participate. We get to know their experience. Also we have a group on social networking sites where latest updates on research are available. An alumni group is formed.
