Remarks

I am interested in agriculture it has lots of importance and scope. There are many interesting subject in this field like Agronomy , extension, entomology, pathology, botany, soil science, engineering, statistics, animal and dairy science , horticulture and many more. And it is one and only government college of Agriculture in Nagpur. That's way I took admission in COA

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is updated and cource and syllabus change every time after 3yrs college also provide us industrial exposure as well as practical work in field as it is very important for any agri students to have enough practical knowledge Faculties is good According to me - Faculty of AGRONOMY is the best.

Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fertilizer companies visit our college. They take a entrance test and the qualified students are called for interview. Most of the students prepare for JRF ICAR for Msc, AFO (agri field officer) ,NABARD , MPSC like compitetive exams.

College Events

Our college helds youth festival every year where students get the chance to participate in various compitition and to show there talent -And many agriculture quize compititions are held by the College -There is a huge celebration of Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti at college it's one of the most important event of college.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES
