Remarks
In UPTU(I. e. Uttar Pradesh Technical University), it was among the top 10 colleges, also it was near to my house. Means of transportation was also available from my home to the college. I also liked the college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was vast. They taught us nicely and subjects were interesting. First year had all the subjects Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering subject also. What I liked the most about curriculum is that in each semester there was a subject like sociology, psychology, etc which helped us to connect with the real life conditions of industries or corporate sector.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, with IBM, Noida.
Placement Experience
It give us a huge chance of getting placed. There were a lot of companies (more than a hundred) that came for campus placement. Campus placement of IMS is good. Also the professors motivates the students to go and participate in pool drives. So there is good placement scope also there is more of good motivation and support that the college gives to get placed.
College Events
Campus was good. Events happened all then and now. There was a focus on extracurricular activities alot. Fashion Show was organized every year called "VIBGYOR", famous cultural event of IMS. Then there were Tech Fests, 2 times a year, Fresher's party, Fairwell, Diwali party etc. Everything was celebrated at IMS at a grand level. Also not to forget every year there was one Celebrity night also for the IMSians.
Campus Life
I loved the infrastructure. Classes were air conditioned. Blocks were divided. It had all the labs which were fully equipped. College had its own parking and then the Main ground. The boys hostel and girls hostel were far separated by the college ground. A fully furnished, State of the Art Amphitheatre to conduct programmes. There were 2 canteens and they served affordable and good food. Washrooms were clean and had continuous supply of water. There was a big library which served books from all genres. If I had to rate it I would give it 9/10.
