Remarks
I choose this institution because this institution is one of the most prestigious and best undergraduate courses college in lucknow. It was also located close to my home. The campus is beautiful and have historic perspective too. It is also a girls college which provides safe environment to the students. The institution is famous for its education and extracurricular activities like fest known as AURA.
Course Curriculum Overview
The institution offers various programs like ba, bsc, bcom and even post graduate programs. The bachelor of arts course was last updated in 2017 and from then the same course structure is being followed. There are usually 3 papers for each subject with a syllabus divided into 4 units each. Internal exams are also held by the college thrice a year. Final exams are held by the lucknow university. One very positive thing is that the teachers are very supportive and friendly. They teach and guide the students with full focus and majority of the teachers are PhD holders. The faculty of History - Dr. Amita David and Dr. Vandana Herrin and the faculty of English Dr stutit khare were my favorites.
Placement Experience
Our institution although provides with internships and job opportunities for the students but as a arts students you don't find many opportunities but there are training programs like personality development to enrich the learnings and personalities of the students. The college has a good alumni network as they keep detailed information of their students even after they have passed out. Miss universe India 2019 vartika Singh is from our own college.
College Events
The college is known for its grand fests and fates. A college fest named rangmanch is organized then an inter college fest aura is held in which all the colleges of lucknow are invited to take part. It is a really grand time when you get to see talents from all over the city. Freshers party and farewell party are held for the students to welcome and bid good bye respectively. A traditional golden circle program is held which is a prayer meeting for the final year students. Sports day and a grand Christmas festival popularly known as cantata is celebrated too.
Campus Life
The institution has a well established library named Sarah chakko and it also has a American corner which has some of the most amazing books. There is also a reserved section of books. There is a students government association consisting of the students who work and organize all the activities and programs. The building of the institution is a must watch as it gives a very historic feel. There is free wifi available for the students. We have a grand auditorium and seminar hall for the conferences. There is also a career counselling cell which helps and guides the students in their careers and also provides with job opportunities to the students. We have basket ball court and computer labs too.
