V.V Sai Akhil's Review On JNTUH College Of Engineering, Hyderabad

Management is not students friendly. They behave on their way. Mainly administration staff they will scold always if we ask anything 2 times. Coming to teaching staff instead of professors some times substitute assistant lecturers will come to teach us. Their knowledge isless than students knowledge.

I took Andra Pradesh EAMCET examination. I got a rank of 5192. I would have got cse or ece in another private colleges. But studying in Jntu is differnet. A university college is something special. Personally I like civil and I also heard that in jntuhceh civil is the oldest branch and it is the top in university. So I took without any another thought.

Till now I didnt heard about college internship. No college internship is provided officially by our college. But studnets can if they have leisure time. But on 3rd year we will do a mini project involving college officials and in 4th year by going to any other industrial company.

Jntuhceh is known for placements. Every year the placements percentage is above 98%. Simply every student who registered for placements will be placed. Mainly IT companies visit our college Some of they with package are TCS 4 lakhs-5 lakhs per annum Netcracker- 5 lakhs to -6 lakhs per annum Google-16-18 lakhs only selects 1person Amazon-15-16lakhs atmost 2persons gets selected,L&t for civil core-2-3lakhs,Gst infrastructure 2-3lakhs,Oracle 4-5lakhs,Mahindra 3-4 lakhs,Maruthi 2-3 lakhs,Microsoft 12 lakh etc they are many more companies which visit our college but these are regular visitors.

Every year there will be a technical fest which is organised individually by departments. For eg coming to civil department the final year students of the department visit private companies to ask for funds for the fest which increase exposure to students. Very department fest has its own name. Civil engineering fest named as sthapathya etc. Every year college celebrates anual day with its own funds. On that student actively participate in cultural activities there will be student coordinators etc. For technical fests held in Jntu the students from all over the state of andhra Pradesh come in order to participate. There will be many events in thes se fests. The amounts of funds collected by students will be huge at about 30-50lakhs.

Fee structure is very less. The college fees per annum is just 10,000 rs In addition we have to pay per anum library fees 2500,Sports and another fee 2500 for every semester we have to pay 400 as exam fee.

Regarding scholarships the college donot offer any. But the state and central government award students on the basis of intermediate marks. Coming to loans college doesn't involve in any matters of students regarding money issues. The fees is to be paid on or before due date otherwise seat will be cancelled.

Both are treated in same way Coming to hostel parties students will celebrate birthdays parties grandly. We have many competitions in college every year the high marks scorer of department will be taken to other country universities by Proffesors on their own expenses. There is no sexual or religious seperarion. Every one is treated equally. They are many students organisations in college for eg Jntujac,Civil engineering association etc. These participate actively in college helping students to resolve issues. Every class have fixed minimum number of girls because of reservation provided by government.

Coming to hostel there are separate hostels for girls and boys again boys hostel is subdivided into 3 categories 1st years,M.Tech and btech 2 final yeas. Each classification has separate hostel. The first years hostel is newly built one it looks good and has good cleanliness. The rooms are spacious and only 3-4 students are accomdated for each room so that we can study without deviations. The food quality is also extraordinary every day has its own timetable.Coming to 2nd years-final years one They will accomdate 6-7 members in room in 2nd and 3rd year but when we reach final year they will give 1 member one room but hostel has no cleanliness. Food is extraordinary same as 1st years. M.Tech hostel is old one which is worst one Girls hostel is very strict with good security system. Cleanliness and food wise those are best. The hostel and mess fees for month is just 1600-2000 based on how many days we are present only we can keep 5 leaves for month.

Seniors are best friends. Very friendly They help us in many ways. 1st year they may ask us to do their works(ragging) but from 2nd year onwards we will understand how a senior helps us. Regarding what books to study how to prepare for exams how to speak to Proffesors etc they really help us and helped us.

Coming to eaxms every semester has 2mid exams and one final semester final semester exam is completely based on written part. They will give 8 questions from which we have to answer 5 questions of this 8 questions again each question is divided into 2 or 3part questions. One each question has 14 marks. 5*14=70So each theory exam is of 70 marks in end exam emaining 30 marks is for mid of which 25 marks is written exam and 5 marks is students assignment work. Again this 25 marks is divided into theory and bit paper.

Coming to faculty there are two types in our college Permanent temporary coming to permanent staff they are so genuine and particular they may not teach well in class but if we ask any doubt they will explain in such a way that we can face any difficulty without fear in that topic coming to temporary staff these are working in college on basis of contract simply I mean after completing mtech they will write an exam conducted by Jntu and interview. Qualified will work as contract lecturers. They doesn't know anything. Their knowledge is nill. The course structure is simply superb because the college syllabus planners designed in such a way that every semester has 1 hard subject and 1 easy subject this makes studemts to concentrate more on hard subject leaving easy one. Because we are able to read that easy subject even one day before of exam. Faculty processors extraordinary and permanent lecturers are good while temporary worst.
