Remarks

All in all I would say that if you want education with all fun extra ciriculum then this is the perfect place. The ambience is so calm and peaceful that you love staying in the premises. You can even study alone in the peaceful atmosphere. Trees are all over which gives a garden like D feeling. Even the faculty and education provided is the best unlike other colleges which doesn't complete their syllabus and even don't get hand on experiment. If you are in Hyderabad and a girl who choose to study any graduation or post graduation courses then this is the best place for sure.

Entrance Preview

After passing out my graduation I though to do my post graduation in biotechnology as it is one the leading and advanced studies in applied science. I also wanted to try out MBA so I wrote entrance examination for both MBA and MS.c. The entrance exam names are icet and pgcet respectively. I got a higher rank in MBA and I had less interest so did not go with it. I got a very good rank in PGCET. I wrote the exam Taki G microbiology as the option as its easy and was suggested to do so as I would definitely get good rank by doing so. I got 96th rank. I was so happy to know that I would free seat as rank was nice. But I had little tension of choice of college. Then came the day of counselling where I had all choices of college but I chose this college as its best after the University. It is considered as University only. It is only girls college that was the main reason to choose this college. One more reason was the distance. I had heard a lot about this college before. It prestigious to be a part of such a college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is divided into 4 semester. Each semester of 4 months. At the end of each semester exams are conducted.

Internships Opportunities

The college doesn't provide any placements and doesn't give any job opportunities. Once I got a opportunity to work in a laboratory placed in hospital. I went through the initial procedures. The stipend offered was Rs 7000.

Placement Experience

2.5

The only drawback that my campus doesn't provide placement as such. I haven't seen any companies coming to my campus. I would want that my campus work on this aspect and provide placement and provide job so that it be a great opportunity.

College Events

5

Cultural programs like annual day functions takes on a yearly basis. It's a big function where the whole college actively participates. Academic awards are given to the toppers and then follows the cultural programs. Chief guests are invited. Sports day is another function where sports awards are given.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is not feasible. It is moderate. It is not very expensive. In today's world this is the average fees we have for courses. Other courses are more expensive. The fees can be paid in installments. The fees is paid once a year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given by the government. It can be availed by students who are not financially stable. The whole fess is refunded by the government.

Campus Life

5

The life at campus is awesome. One get all extra ciricular activities. You get to play all types of games like basket ball, tennis, table tennis. You also have competition for all the games. The awards are given on sports day function. Annual day is celebrated where all academic awards are given an also cultural programs are organized. Academic related competition such as debates, quiz all take place. Students actively participate and have healthy competition. There is no politics as such. Workshop are organized by different subject groups. Freshers and farewell parties are also organized by different subject groups.

Hostel Facilities

4

I didn't access to hostel facility though my college provides an excellent hostel service as heard by my friends.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is formed by all passed out students. The alumni group does meet and discuss their future. They also share their valuable experience and give review to the current students. All the members of alumni are connected to make a strong bonding. Even the alumni group is formed on social networking sites where students are invited to the group and useful and latest information is shared.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted semester wise. You also have tests and assignments. Exams include both theory and practical. Practical are conducted in lab in presence of external examiner. Practical exams are quite hectic where as theory exam are that hectic.

Faculty

5

The faculty is well qualified. They are best in their fields and provide best knowledge. Some of them are doctorate. All are senior and experienced. The laboratory is well equipped. The staff of laboratory is quite friendly and helpful. The faculty is very active and have knowledge of day to day latest information. They share informative knowledge. They helps and guides us in studies as well as for future plans.

The geology has very significant importance to human in more ways but the Geology related jobs are very less in state government and central government. Few geology related companies are give opportunities to students wit. Internships and also provide jobs with tough exam and interview. The companies are Geological Survey of India and NGRI etc.. we expect that jobs in state government jobs but very less in state government in geology related jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive offering a balanced combination of theoretical and practical knowledge for learning. This curriculum helps in developing both conceptual clarity and analytical skills and prepare students well for real - world challenges as well as higher academic pursuits. This curriculum is strong and valuable. The frequency and timing of exams are generally reasonable though at times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is an amazing course. Helps me understand the concept very deeply the curriculum is also really good. Every teacher has their own way of teaching some can improve but it is fine we can try to study and understand by ourselves a bit. When it comes to internals its of 20 marks we have as such three of them for one sem and avg of 10 is taken from it internals are of 1hr and externals will be about 2hrs 30mins and labs of 3hrs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.
