Remarks

No management quota. Good academics. Very good student clubs and teams. Good industrial reputation. Diverse student population. Very good administration and management. Clean and well maintained hostels. Good mess food.

Well updated course, nice labs and decent faculty. Scope for research and customisation of course. Relevant industrial knowledge. Practice school in last semester or research project. BTech honours option also available.

Very big list of companies visit with different packages. High packages offered by MNCs in technical domain. Alumni network through student teams and clubs is great.

College Events

Very good campus culture. Several clubs to choose from, spanning very wide variety of interests. Great involvement in student community. Freedom to manage life, no irrational rules. Open and safe ethos. Great cultural event called REVELS. Sense of belonging in campus.

Campus Life

Excellent infrastructure. Great buildings and classrooms. Recorded lectures. Labs are in excellent condition. Full wifi coverage across campus. Great and expansive library with big collection and room to study. Sports facilities are great, multiple basketball, football, cricket, volleyball etc facilities. MARENA at close distance has world class sporting facilities.

Hostel Facilities

Living in a twin sharing hostel room without AC, with attached bathroom. Very clean and well designed room. Ample storage space. Cleaned regularly by professionals. Excellent view. Great ventilation and light. Hostel is easy to avail, very wide choice of rooms and configuration.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch.
