Remarks

Campus life in the college is very well known, Liberty to explore various aspects of education and life itself. student culture - relaxed and productive atmosphere between seniors and juniors. course quality and support of faculty, extra curriculars.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is pretty updated, electives are almost industry standard. I cannot personally speak for industrial experience as i have not experienced it yet but seniors say they definitely learn a lot from their experiences and grow as people. The faculty in first year was good. Dr. Divya Shenoy mam for math, Dr. Raviprakash sir for physics were standouts

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Goldman Sachs technical and analyst role, Microsoft technical role, Cisco technical role, Varun Mayya and Tanay Pratap are famous entrepreneurs from our college. Vijay Varada's Fracktal Works is also a famous 3D printing startup, Satya Nadella,CEO of Microsoft and Rajeev Suri, former CEO of Nokia are also Manipal Graduates. Alumni network is top class.

College Events

The technical festival is as good as those of BITS Pilani campuses. Majority of participants are from Manipalites but the intensity is very high in all competitions. Cultural fests in MIT Manipal are very popular and is the most memorable event in the academic year with a huge outstation participation

Campus Life

Sports facilities are alright Cricket ground is small, football ground is huge but not grassy enough Hockey ground is very good, both basketball grounds too, gyms are alright, under renovation There is the Venugopal temple available in campus as well. The wi-fi is very good in some hostels, average in others Library is one of the biggest in Asia Lab equipments are top class for chemistry, computers, mechanical and engineering physics

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required.
