Remarks

Best place for all round development, not only focused in academics. The student clubs varied from dance, drama to robotics and F1 racing. The infrastructure is state of the art. Great people- you’re sure to make friends for a lifetime.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was pretty new and updated. They kept taking course feedback and faculty feedback every semester. The lab facilities were pretty good- such as the sensors lab, hydraulics and pneumatics lab, Electronics lab, etc. We had a robotics lab with a huge robot arm that prepared us really well for the industry.

Placement Experience

The placements were done in the 7th semester which required us to strike a balance between academics and applying for jobs. While it’s a stressful period, the process is made easier by the placement department and the understanding faculty. We have some of the most notable Alumni known across the world- Satya Nadela (CEO, Microsoft), Rajeev Suri (CEO, Nokia), amongst many others.

College Events

I participated as an organiser in two technical fests, and as a participant in every other Fest. It’s a great experience interacting with students from various other competent universities. The fest is usually a week long but the prep takes an entire semester prior to it. Scale is pretty huge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
