Remarks
Amongst the top Hotel Management colleges in India and the best college for Hotel Management in entire Uttar Pradesh. The faculty is top notch and there the faculty acts more of a facilitator rather being a teacher and spoon feesing every this which helps in the personality development of the students and makes the eligible for any challenges they would face in near futur not only in their jobs but for the real life too.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus I think has not been updated for years. All the students have their mandatory industrial training wich comprises of 17 weeks i. e a complete semester and marks are alloted according to your performance during I. T. According to me faculty of ihm lucknow is the best anyone could get they are helpful and are there to help you out in any problem, the best faculty for me had been Mr. Tarun Bansal hands down and I think most of my batchmates would have the same opinion.
Placement Experience
Oberois, taj, marriot, fasoos, macdonalds, dominors, PVR, cinepolis these are few of many companies that had there recruitments from IHM lucknow. The recruitment procedure involves GD(group discussion s) and PI(personal interview).
College Events
It was great and we had anual events like concordia and lohri celebrations etc. The lohri celebrations involved only the college students and the people living near by as it was not advertised but the concordia had many sponsors but no outsiders were allowed.
Campus Life
There is no sports facility there, no wifi in the campus except for the hostel students, the library had the capacity of accumulating 70 students at a time and each lab was fully equiped although the equipments were outdated.
