Remarks

Good Faculty. Good learning environment.Good Placements. Good Alumni Network.Best among other new IIMs from which admission offers came. Suggested by college seniors who are now my B-school senior group.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is very relevant to outside the corporate scenario. Many sessions are organized on a regular basis to communicate with and to get guidance from many successful leaders.The faculties are very encouraging and helpful.

Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Placement Experience

IIM Ranchi had a 100% placement record for both PGP and PGPHRM. The highest international package at IIM Ranchi was recorded at 58.10 LPA, while the average package stood at 15.02 LPA. More than 100 companies participated in the placement drive of IIM Ranchi. The almni network is very helpful in getting more opportunities.

College Events

The life in IIM Ranchi is always busy. Not only from academic perspective, here everybody is busy to follow their passion. From cultural to sports all activities are just another scope to make friends, learn more. From the 1st day, we have participated in 3 to 4 activities everyday on an average held by various student bodies. The experience was very new and exciting and looking forward for more.

Words on life in PGDBA program

Placement Experience:

There is 100% placement for the program. All students are placed at the end of the curriculum. PPI / PPO rate stands around 70% for this particular program. Some students opt out of the placement process mostly due to entrepreneurship/startup ventures.

The best in infrastructure, and well-known education system. The college is really a gem. Every student feels lucky to study here. Most of all, the place is beautiful and the facilities were great. And the thing is I really enjoyed Bengali culture while studying here.

Students must be simply graduate with minimum50%marks in graduation from any recognized University.The Admission process is purely provisional.There is separate online entrance exam conducted by JIS University.A valid score in MAT/GMAT/ATMA/XAT etc gives extra weightage to the applicant for admission.

The eligibility for this course is having a bachelor's degree with minimum of 55% of marks and then the cut off for CAT exam varies from student to student. They calculate the composite scores for every student considering different factors like academic background, work experience, gender diversity, past academics, etc. I would recommend that the institute should have a fair shortlisting criteria which should be disclosed to everyone because I saw people topping the CAT exam still not getting calls from institute because of their strict criteria especially for general engineer male....Read More

Enrolling at IIM Kolkata was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I enrolled in an MBA at IIM Kolkata due to my strong interest in the subject.
