Remarks
Wonderful campus!! Good crowd. Less organized structure. Superb sporting facilities with regular inter and intra college competitions. Annual fest is organized with great enthusiasm and vigor. One of the things that need to be improved is better way of teaching. Need more experienced faculty and better exposure and placement opportunities to students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty team in my department is excellent. They support you in your research work, and many of them are from the IITs and are PhD-qualified, while the others have completed their Master's. They use interactive methods to teach the students eg practical approach, audio-visual methods etc. The course curriculum needs to be changed a bit so that we can get some industrial exposure.
Placement Experience
I guess, the placement rate of our college was 60% to 75%. The average package offered would be around Rs. 3. 25 LPA. Most of the roles offered were technical, that includes software development, mobile application development, big data, robotics, artificial intelligence, etc. The university has its placement cell, but it's not much efficient.
College Events
Many events like the treasure hunt, coding competitions, TedX, Jashn-e-Adab, college fest, freshers' party, farewell party, etc., are organised in the college. Many conferences and technical events are also organised by jamia hamdard.
Campus Life
Our college is a Wi-Fi enabled campus, and the speed is excellent. The medical facilities for the students are free and we have our own state-of-the-art hospital. Recently, the UGC chairman inaugurated the sports complex in our campus and you can play a variety of sports there. Not to mention that we have a cricket field and a basketball court. Some classrooms are air-conditioned while some are not. The library is a major attraction for the learners as it has a lot of books. The hostel for boys has two-seater rooms with AC facility. In the canteen, the food is good and cheap.
