This unique B.Com (Hons) program in bangalore helps to inculcate a broad perspecrive of commerce, accounting and which helps in holistic developement of personality. The best thing about the college is the location i.e koramangala which is the hub for start-ups, companies, clubs, night life and many more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was fully updated. We were provided with specific ppt and pdf files for every subject. Gavin sir, Dr. Jayasankaran Sir, Shali mam, Pradeep sir, Dr. Suresh Mony sir they all supported and motivated us in sports and academics during the full first year. Gavin sir used to give examples from movies which were too relatable. Pradeep sir used to give his real life examples which he has been through in his life. Shali mam had rich lnowledge in subject. Jayasankaran sir and suresh moni sir were always ready for overall personality developement
Placement Experience
The college website displays the Placements to be 100%. As a student of first year and being in the first batch of my program i dont know much about the placements. But yeah there is a placement committee which interacts with us on a regular basis providing ideas and supporting in summer internships and placements
College Events
We guys, during our first yearz used to organize the events with the help of professors, director, vice chancellor. The sports committe organised an event on SPORTS day which included basketball, table tennis, chess and carrom. The cultural committee organised an event on 2nd october (Gandhi Jayanti) which included performances like traditional dance and hindi old songs playlist sung by students. There are many quizzes and debates on a regular basis generally on every weekends.
Campus Life
We get free wifi, full time access to liabrary. College has a tie up with a sports ground nearby the college. No doubt the campus is a bit small but the location at which it is located is the heart of koramangala.
Hostel Facilities
The place where i live is a private hostel in the adjoining street of campus hostel. Rent is just 10-12k per month for 2 sharing with 4 meals per day which include breakfast, lunch, evening snacks (too yummy) and dinner with a health drink at night which could be bournvita milk/coffee/badam milk/cold coffee etc. My hostel has a tie up with a gym therefore we guys can go to the gym anytime we want. There are no extra charges for the gym.all the above facilities are included in just only 10-12 thousand per month There is a security guard outside the hostel therefore its totally safe Hostel has games like snooker, table tennis, a lounge area with a big LED tv which anyone can use. Location of the hostel is the backside of FORUM MALL which is also a prime area full of clubs, parties and liabries The zomato services are 24hours
