AIEEE. Based on the AIEEE rank, the admissions are done, a merit list is released and based on that merit list the seats and courses have to be chosen on a first come first server basis depending on the rank you get in the merit list.

Course curriculum is like any other college. Every Year we need to select one elective. Range of electives are very good. Example - Robotics, Airport and waterways engineering etc.Also, The curriculum is credit based.

100 % placements are done here, If you do not have any arrears, You are placed in some company or the other for sure. Package ranges from 3lacs - 10lacs.

Daksh - Main Inter College Technical Fest. It is very big and IITs and NITs particiapte. Kurukshetra - Mega Cuktural Fest of SASTRA. Each of them are atleast 3 days long and involves every department and events related to all departments. Sport competitions are also there.

The fee structure is very reasonable when compared to other colleges.Per semester the tution fees might go upto a max of 50k. Hostel and Mess fees are separate. The fees has to be payed online or at the administrative office.

As far as i know there is no loan facility but there is something called Deans List. Top 5 from every department are awarded with cash prize every semester. Cash price is 5k.

Campus life is amazing, there is a nice canteen and also a huge library, almost every sport is present. Gender ratio is about 60:40, 60 being boys. There are no hostel parties and wardens are very strict. No discrimination when it comes to gender, religion, caste and economic status. they are very rationale in all such things. Labs are very well equipped with the latest technology and infrastructure.

Hostels are neat and 3 in one room. and also 4 in one room. Lot of rooms are available in thanjavur and one can travel everyday to college from the city.

Alumini meets are held every year and are very good. A lot of students travel all the way to thanjavur for these meets. Sometimes they are held at chennai too.

3 internals in one semester and best 2 are taken into account as your final internal. The internal constitutes 50% of ur marks and rest 50% is the final semester marks. It was not so hectic and easily manageable.

Faculty is very good and well qualified. Guest lectures are also given sometimes. Every professor has completed Mtech and HOD's are very senior resources. They are readily available for help any time and are very approachable.
