Good college for academics

A little gender based can be seen in the campus but when coming to the overall picture, everything is good.

The college conducts its university entrance exam every year and I scored 47 marks in it. The reason for choosing this college is its fee structure compared to other colleges.

The curriculum of my course bioinformatics is balanced in all areas, touches the depth fields of the core subjects.

There is an international research centre, animal tissue culture centre from which one can obtain internships but shouldn't expect any stipend.

Major highlight of my college is its placement. My branch has scored a 100% placement record. The basic package starts from 3.45 la/ann while the dream companies like new sigma offers 12 la/ann. Other companies like cognizant, tcs, wipro, infosys, etc come for placement every year and their package depends on the aptitude and capability of the individual . Training is given for each student so that he gets placed .

Numerous number of events are conducted every year. Conferences, seminars, symposiums, workshops, fests etc are conducted in a well planned manner. Cultural is conducted in which eminent personalities are invited and other competitions are conducted. For girl students femfest is conducted.

Many scholarships are available for minority students and merit students. Merit based scholarships are given based on the rank scored in the entrance exam.

Many cultural events like skit, adzap, debate, dancing, singing etc are conducted every once in a while. Not only in our college we are encouraged to participate in other colleges also. On the whole for girl students this provides an excellent college for girls regarding security, studies and every other aspects.

The fee structure is quite feasible. Hostel facilities are recently developing and I would recommend any student skiing to opt for hostel for all years. The food that is available here isn't available anywhere. You get non-veg everyday and quantity is also satisfying.

Sessions are conducted with the alumini and seniors for every branch so that we have a clear idea about the department and branch we are studying.

Each semester is for 6 months. It comprises of two mid Sems of 50 marks for each subject which carry 15 marks to the final semester. 5 marks are given for attendance, the final sem exam is for 80 marks. Each student has to maintain 75% attendance in order to attend exams. For the student to pass, he/she has to get 50% in every subject.

Faculty helps in every way possible. Faculty handles those subjects in which they major in in order to expose the students correctly and efficiently.
