Great college

The college is a little biased towards girls giving them a little bit of extra in almost everything which is also a disadvantage towards their attending to conferences outside our college requires a lot permission letters. As a whole it is one of the top college one would like to spend his 4 years and pass out with a job.

University conducts its entrance exam every year and the application is available online in the college website sathyabamauniversity.ac.in.

The curriculum has well balanced subjects and topics. It also contains all the practical learning necessary. The faculty are well qualified. Proper electives are also available .

There is an international research center which offers internships in nanotechnology and various other fields but no stipend is offered. Students are notified about other institutes internships and are guided accordingly to get it.

Every student irrespective his standing backlogs is given placement training. The avg package is about 3.45 la per annum and some companies like new sigma offers 12 la per annum. Other companies which come for placement are tcs, cts, wipro, infosys, etc.

Culturals is celebrated every year in which eminent personalities visit and many dance programs, concerts and competitions regarding this are conducted. Especially for girls femfest is conducted, which is a 2 day event.

The fee is quiet feasible. For me in first year it was 1.85 la including hostel and all other fees. It reduces for the next two years to 1.6 la and for final year it is 1.75 la.

For those securing impressive marks in entrance exam are awarded with full scholarship that is no tuition fee to be paid. For every sem topper some percentage of their tuition fee is given as scholarship.

The campus life is extraordinary. We are exposed to different competitions, cultural events managing events etc. There are wide range of diversity among students as they come from various states in the country like Assam, arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, west bengal, etc. Every now and then conferences, workshops symposiums and certifications courses are provided by the university.

The hostel is very big and separate for each year students. Mess food contain different varieties for each day repeated over the week. Non veg is available everyday.

Freshers are given a session with the seniors where they talk about all their queries about the college, their faculty . What u shouldnt do in campus. They also share their experience when they where in your place.

Each sem has 2 midsems for 50 marks each carrying 7.5 marks from each midsem, 5 marks are awarded for attendance. Sem is conducted for 80 marks.
