Since placement is very promising and very big companies like Infosys, TCS, etc approach here for the recruitment and faculty members are also very good and they start training students from day 1 to get the students selected in the day 1 placement drive so I chose this college.

Academics is very good. 90 percent attendance is mandatory so that no individual can bunk the lectures. The main target behind attendance is that that instead of bunking lectures an individual can gain something from what faculty is teaching. Faculty members are very nice and soft spoken to students. Their way of teaching and explaining each and every thing is mind-blowing.

Companies like Infosys, TCS, wipro, capgemini, etc. visits here and more than 85% student get job. PSIT provides large pool of campus recruitment and good placement package to their students. The faculty members work hard along with the students from day 1 to get students placed in the good companies. Students are trained for interviews, infytq rounds are held, GD's are organised, coding tests are held to get students trained for the placement.

Talking about campus life, one cannot bunk lectures and cannot go to cafeteria to chill out. One can only roam in the campus in the recess or in the break. IGNITIA, a two day event organised by PSIT in the month of February or March in which DJ night is there where celebrities are invited and exhibitions are also there. The preparations of IGNITIA begin from the month of November and a day is fixed which is called IGNITIA Launch. For freshers, an event is organised called WAVES, introduction of senior students with a new batch. For extracurricular activities, clubs are there which includes Toastmasters, dance, music, NCC etc.

The whole campus is centrally air-conditioned. There are 2 playgrounds, 2 basketball court, 2 badminton court and a central ground for sport activities. There is centrally air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1300, a conference hall which provides facility of conducting webinars, laboratories, workshops, club, centrally air-conditioned library. The campus also has solar-powered hot water plant which provides 24_7 hot water and a centralised RO water plant with a capacity of 10000 litres/hour. A 24_7 infirmary is also available.

There are separate boys and girls hostel both ac and non-ac. Rooms are very cosy with 2 rooms sharing one balcony. Girls hostel is only 2 seater. There is an AC Dining hall with a healthy and tasty diet. There is one chief warden who visits weakly, one warden and one caretaker who permanently stays in the hostel. One permanent nurse also stays in the hostel. After 7 pm, girls cannot go out of the hostel. If any medical issue arises then one must be accompanied by a nurse. A badminton court is also there inside the hostel. A Tuck shop is available for essentials and refreshments. After college gets over, activities like Zumba is practised by students. Faculty also take students to morning walk.
