Remarks

College infrastructure is not as good as other engineering colleges like AEC JEC. No separate building for each department. Overall infrastructure is very poor in our college. College canteen is also not good. But the college campus is really big.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm a civil engineering student and I'm currently studying in JIST. The quality of teaching is good but number professor is very less. Even there are only 3 permanent teacher and 3 temporary assistant teachers in our department.

Placement Experience

Placement is also not good in our college. Only few companies comes to our college for campus selection and most of them are IT based company. No companies related to civil engineering has come yet. But companies like TCS Cognizant for campus selection.

College Events

College campus is really big and beautiful. But it could've been better. Most part of our college campus is not used. Students face electricity problem in summer.It's not even value for money college. Our admission fees for each semester is around 9000 while other government engineering colleges fees structure is less 5000 and we have to pay separately for i-card. So I don't feel we are getting our money's worth.

after the completion of third year students become eligible for campus placements companies which visit are infosys cisco tata amazon and many more highest package for 2024 was 52 lpa and the average package is 11 LPA 60-70% students gget placed after my degree i plan to get a solid 9-5 job earning a decent living of my life and serving my parents

We have domains and certain denomination in placements like 6 figure denomination for top performing students as they get placements in excess of 10 lakhs. Average as of last year median is around 7 lakhs for electrical branch students.

Placement Experience:

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Jiwaji University Honest Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.
