Remarks

I am a highly enthusiastic and focused individual who holds a very strong interest in business activities. Indian Institute of Management Ranchi seems to be the right place for pursuing my dream carrier.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college syllabus is always up to date. Industrial exposure will be very good. Faculties are very talented and friendly. Almost all faculties took more effort while teaching the subject in the class.

Placement Experience

Indian Institute of Management Ranchi placements are really good when you compare it to other new IIMs

College Events

Our hostel is located in the National Sports Housing Complex, the venue for the 2011 National Games held in Ranchi. Needless to say, the location is breath-taking. Life without a campus does have its ups and downs. But we, as responsible students of the college, help each other to make countless memories nonetheless

- The placements are decent since the college has a good rapport in the corporate market - Bad market does affect the placements, but the college ensures that everyone has at least one offer before leaving the campus, and hence 100% placements happen always. - Highest packages go up to crores, however, the fixed and variable components differ. - Top recruiters are MBBAK consulting firms (all front end roles), JPMC IB, HUL, P&G, Tata Steel, Amazon, Microsoft, Walmart, Marico, HCL, Renew Power, DB, Vedanta, Castrol, NPCI etc etc

The Summer Internship Placement Process happens in September to October of the first year. The lateral final placement process (for those students with required level of work experience) begins in November - December of the 2nd year. The common pool process ( for everyone else) is in January. 100% placements are typical

Placement Experience:

You get Summer internship placements as well as final placements. There is 100% placements every year and the highest package can be around 1 cr and lowest at 18 lakhs. This year due to market conditions, these figures can go down.

My experience at XLRI Jamshedpur

Placement Experience:

XLRI provides both SIP and Final placement opportunities. The SIP process begins in the month of September and the final placements during the months of Dec-Feb. 100 percent of the students get placed. The highest stipend for the SIP 2024 was 3.5 lakh per month, the average being 1.5 lakh+.

Remarks:

Our college is the fastest growing IIM in the country, we have already surpassed other B-Schools that we are normally compared to in terms of placements. At IIM Ranchi, students are offered international placements as well and as per the stats, in 2019, the highest international package was 58.1 LPA. The average package is also decent at 15.02 LPA. Domestic highest package here was 26 LPA, which is a great return on investment, if you see.

Remarks:

Amongst all the new and baby IIMs, IIM Ranchi clearly wins the game with respect to the pedagogy and the facilities that it provides. The campus is known for providing single occupancy room to all the students. Also, the average placement is highest here.

I appeared for CAT and out of the calls that I converted IIM Ranchi is the only Institute that had outperformed in its a decade old history. Its legacy of the students and courses offered are aligned with my career goals.
