Remarks
I want to go in a deemed university so I found SGITS best suitable for me. because first off all it was well established college which had good alumini connectin and the most important it is a government autonomous college that had a good reputation in Madhya Pradesh as well as in india. it seems to be this college had a placement opportunity but it doesn't benifits me because after I get admitted I came to know that placement opportunity are good for cs and it branch but unfortunately I'm from mechanical branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course are of 90's syllabus. No industrial exposure it hard to found an internship for cs and it students, yes ofcourse we can't think of other branches. I'm in first year and in first year I doesn't found any good faculty.
Placement Experience
Company's visited are Goldman Sachs provide a package of 22 lacs per annum hier 8 to 10 students, wipro provide an package of 3 to 4 lacs hier students in a bulk, Eicher motor-6 to 8 lacks hier 1or 2 students adobe and many other companies.
College Events
Campus life is as usual. There are approx 900 seat in a 1st year, and the total seats available In hotels are for 200 students that are acquired on a merit basis but if you are of reserved category then you can easily avail it. festival happens but on a small scale.
Campus Life
Sports facility are not up to the mark. No wifi is provided, Library are worse in SGITS, if I talk about library it is divided into two part one is for sc/st and another one is for general category, and at time of exam if you found a book in library then you are the luckiest person on the earth. Equipment are old in labs but are in good condition.
Hostel Facilities
