Remarks
It is an old autonomous institute which is considered to be the best in Madhya Pradesh after IITs and NITs. Also the placements here are quite appreciable as compared to other colleges in local. Also the crowd here has a variety of students with different skills and thoughts. This makes it an advantage to spend 4 years with such people and learn with fun. Moreover, sgsits is located in the centre of the city Indore which is an advantage as we have access to all sorts of places for hanging out with friends, for purchasing goods, availability of transportation and a lot more. The fee is not too high, thus, it is always a very good option for most parents.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being a first year student, i am not yet clear about these things. But as of now I would say that the academic structure here is well planned but its execution is not that proper. I mean it can be improved. Till now I have not experienced any industrial exposure. Faculties are also good, always ready to help the students.
Placement Experience
Placements here are quite remarkable. A lot of well established companies visit our college and more than 90% students are placed. Especially placements in CS and IT branches is almost 99%. I and my friends have also recently started a startup named AASSAN which deals with the reuse and recycle of used paper in the best possible way by converting it into paper seed pens and paper bricks. It is still in process and will soon be working in the city.
College Events
I am a day scholar. So campus life for me is not like the hostelers might have. In terms of events, there's nothing much from the college itself. Whatever little events we have are conducted by the students only. And they put in a lot of effort,so it's quite appreciable. Sports activities are there and tournaments are also conducted. There are different clubs like pratibimb, ojaswa, shitij, gsproduction house, readers club etc.and all these are doing well. They conduct various fun events both online and offline.
