Remarks
I saw their website and found that most of the companies were IT companies and their placement package and percentage were good. So i opted B.tech. in Sharda University. Also when i went to this university for admission test, i saw that the university was quite big and infrastructure was also good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I think that the course is outdated and the faculties are not polite with their students. I mean that when the teachers were in class their behaviour is different and when they were in their respective cabins their behaviour totally changes. Some of the professors were polite as well as helpful but most of them weren't. Some teachers didn't give internal assessment marks because they want students to come to their cabin and beg in front of them for some grades.
Placement Experience
Around 60+ companies were there for placement. Most of the the companies were IT but some of them were non-IT also. I can't say that placements were excellent but it was quite good. I think the placement percentage is around 70%-75%. Alumni network is not that good for my course. Placement department were doing their job nicely but the teachers didn't pay much attention towards that. Because teachers didn't told us that what a company wants to see in a student. Due to this reason, most of the students don't know how to pass the placement exam.
College Events
Campus life was cool and I enjoyed a lot. There was a fest named 'Chorus' which held every year and i really enjoyed that fest. Chorus is North-India's largest fest. Other than 'Chorus' there were many cultural programmes which Sharda University organises. There were many students from across the world so they participated in that programmes. There were so many extracurricular activities like weird face competition, eating weird drinks competition, football, cricket,etc.
