Remarks

I felt this college would provide me all the opportunities I wish for! It has more options in campus selections too. Support co-curriculum too apart from academics. Opportunities for sports is as much as studies. The student is let to explore all of his/her talent.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCA course, which I've opted give me no regrets. I enjoy my course and my faculty also supports us in all the ways. Enough of exposures to the practical labs is also provided. More over the department gives us everything required for our academics as well as for any personal queries the faculty is also present.

Class Size: 80

Placement Experience

The placements are satisfactory. More of the companies come for the campus selections and many of the students are placed too. The placement happens after the 5th semester exams of the final year students. The selection goes on in the college campus it self. There is practical before the campus selections too.

College Events

The events and extra curricular activities are amazing. The events too big and reputed guests are invited. The number of opportunities for the students to participate in the competitions is also good. Everyone is given a chance to explore all their skills and talents.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
