Remarks

Nagpur is my hometown and VNIT is a reputed institute. I got Civil Engineering here which I wanted so I didnt go for anything else. VNIT’s technical and Cultural festivals brought me here which AXIS and Aarohi respectively.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum contains both practical and theory aspects. Time to time field visits are there nearby places. Teachers are good. Practicals are conducted time to time. Teachers give proper attention to students. Time to time doubt classes are there.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 66850 per year

Placement Experience

There are many companies recruit students from VNIT. Fidelity JP Morgan etc companies come and recruit students. Before placement workshops are conducted to give students a mock placement practices.

VNIT there are two major fest one is AXIS and other is Aarohi. AXIS is the technical festival and Aarohi is the cultural festival. Both are central Indias largest. In AXIS last edition Title sponsor was HCL Technologies and associate TITLE sponsor was The Boeing Company. And in Aarohi there was the proshow by Sachet Parampara.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate.
