Yash Parekh's Review On Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute Of Technology - [SVIT] Vasad, Anand

This college offers very good academics and placements. It holds a very good rank among all the GTU colleges. The college is very supportive to its students and even promotes Sport events. The Principal of this college not only believes in good academics but also in health and yoga. All the modern facilities like digital classrooms are provided. The college also has a stationary shop in the campus so that it is easy for the students to access the same.

The complete curriculum is based on Gujarat Technological University syllabus. The college strictly follows all the guidelines given by GTU. There are 7 departments in Engineering at SVIT, Vasad. Many Industrial trips and expert sessions are organised by college authorities to provide a complete industrial exposure. IT department faculties are very active in academics and this department also excels in all the sport event of our college. The syllabus is updated by GTU whenever necessary.

The Training and placement cell of college is very active through the complete 4 years of engineering. Second year onwards practice placement sessions are arranged. There are pre placement Interviews, GD rounds, Coding rounds as well as aptitude round for complete preparation of students for the real on campus placements. There's a lot of small innovations done every year by the students. There's no strong alumni network however the students are connected to their faculties. The IT department placements are really well. There is minimum 2. 5 lacs offered to the students who get hired on campus. TCS is very proactive in hiring the IT Department students.

Malhar is our college's Annual day celebration where many cultural programs are organised and the annual award ceremony to appreciate the students for excelling in various fields of sports, academics and innovative takes place. Vision is an inter-departmental technical and non- techical events. Prakarsh is National Technological fest of SVIT, Vasad. There is a massive participation by the students from all over the country at Prakash. All the events are designed such that the participants get lot of experience out of it.
