LIFE AT ST.PETERS COLLEGE

The college management tries hard to make things easy for us but a middle class student like me feels it hard to cope with the college cost of living here, where everything is costly. You can come to our college if you are well financed and not interested sports and do well in studies and cultural activities and the best environment of beautiful gardening will make you mesmsrised and the college building is the best among the neighbouring colleges with best infrastructure.

EAMCET and I got 83600 rank. There is no interview its all done by the counselling done by the andhrapradesh government.

The college staff is good. almost 2 to 3 faculty are from iits and the college syllabus runs on the norms of jntu Hyderabad. the electives are chosen by the department head like our hod. they choose the best and easiest electives every year last year its renewable energy sources and in now its high voltage engineering. The standard of college is better I would say because it lags at few areas of staff having less contented staff. The few of the staff that comes to us are less experienced and lags in good communication and teaching.

As far as now I haven't done any internships and looking forward to do it next semester. I don't know the stipend or anymore details as about it. I haven't. heard about internships provided by our college still now. so regarding experience is null for me. Here the outer companies in Hyderabad provide all these things and so on. Its better to do with the other companies available in Hyderabad.

As far as placements is concerned the college shows it high in numbers but we don't see a great placements and job opportunities I think they r lagging in it. Out of 100 they would provide 40 jobs its too a good number.it has to improve a lot more when comes to bringing companies and providing placements.

The college spends a lot of money on events and celebrations like sunburn, DJ ni8 and many more events like fresher's day and college annual day everyear, traditional day and some other college cultural days.

The college structure is too expensive and it has lot more to improve in the staff teaching department. The college fee is 55- 60k range it won't deserve this. It has poor sports facilities and medium, less experienced standard teaching staff. so I would tell 40k suits it.

I don't much about it but few students had come through college trust and no more scholarship offered .so I haven't availed any scholarship from my college and they are not interested in doing so is what I feel.

The campus life for me is average they have provided extracurricular activities and I haven't participated in it. As I am interested in sports like cricket but the sports has less to do in our college. The main backdrop is it doesn't have a ground for all these to happen. the ground is too small to do things to happen like football and cricket so on.

Sorry the college hostel is only for girls and I don't know much about the mess and all. The hostel fee ranges between 50 k to 60k per year.

Yes every year the alumni department comes to our college and share their experiences and guide us and make few suggestions and have a day for this especially and our department hod takes much concern about it. He is the best for us as hod and does his best to make us feel the best. The alumni is conducted everyear and the college makes it every year and helps us a lot in conducting such valuable meets .

The labs days are very energetic and we use to have a great environment and the lab exams are too good. But the labs sometimes lag due to some problems and we had to stop for 3 or 4 labs in the year. Everything is fine and superb.
