Remarks
Because of the reputation it has in Madhya Pradesh, and also due to the eligibility criteria of 75% marks in board exams in all other colleges. In this college there isn't the boards percentage criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is probably the standard syllabus in all engineering colleges. In the first year most of the subjects are unnecessary. The theory teaching in the class is dependant on the faculty. Some of them are really good and passionate about teaching while others seem to not care much. The practicals are decent. The equipments are decent, labs are decent. Exam difficulty is mediocre to difficult, sometimes easy. The checking however is very strict. And you have to maintain good relations with the teachers. Some good faculties are bhawna ma'am from English department, Ashish giri sir, civil engineering department, Sonal ma'am chemistry department.
Placement Experience
The alumni network is strong. The current placements are decent, the highest package is from the cse department at around 22 lacs per annum. The biggest company that comes to the campus is Goldman Sachs which provides highest packages there are no other big companies like google, Facebook or microsoft.
Campus Life
The campus size is very small. Infrastructure is mostly poor, smelly old buildings, except for the atc building and the lecture theatre. The other department buildings are very old and unpleasant. The badminton court is big and also has 2 tennis tables. Football ground and volleyball court is also decent. The gym is decent, it has old equipments, the trainer is also decent. The big stage and ground where all college events are supposed to happen is almost out of bounds with wild shrubbery all over it, no maintenance whatsoever. The wifi is accessible only to some areas in the campus, the speed is decent. The library is very good, big with 3 floors. The computer labs are also decent with most of the systems working fine. The equipments in other practical labs are also decent.
Hostel Facilities
Most of the pgs around the college are not good, with poor living standards. Some are good but they're mostly completely occupied. The average rent for a pg is around 5000 to 6000 for a single room. And just around 500 more for sharing rooms. There are no food facilities in the pgs, the messes around are bad. The tiffin services are also bad.
