Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers in our college are strict but this makes students learn and work hard. Teachers are helpful if you have any queries. Teachers help in any problems like academics and projects. The course curriculum of mechanical is old. We learn those things that are not used now in industries but if we talk about basics then the curriculum is fine. But if we talk about advanced technical knowledge then our course of mechanical is not enough.
Placement Experience
SKIT, Placements are good here but there are not many companies in mechanical for placement. In SKIT, around 60% of the placements are done students majorly in the CS, IT, and Electronics branches. The highest salary package offered in our college is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2. 5 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 3. 5 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Pinnacle, Capgemini, and Byju's are the companies that hire students in our
College Events
The infrastructure of SKIT is good. They utilise the entire campus property. The campus is green and the power used is by solar panels. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but to use it, you have to know the password. Classrooms are good, and labs have all apparatus in working conditions. The library is fantastic with a digital library too. Hostels are also safe and good and healthy food is served in the canteen. There are many sports activities. We can play football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, tennis, etc.
