Remarks

It's a brand name in Kolkata. Nice study culture. Developed infrastructure. Innovative and research lab for business and entrepreneurship. Mix culture of student. Good placement cell. Classroom is well equipped with every advance instrument. Professors are really good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very supportive and has a lot of knowledge about various subject. The profeesors put a lot of effort on academics and overall learning of students. The curriculum is well structured and suits the modern method of teaching that is through webinar, online classes etc

Placement Experience

We do have a placement cell in the college but it is not that vast local companies do visit us, but the professor in our college help us a lot regarding placements. Annually we have 2 placement drives in campus for full time jobs after completion of graduation and as well as internship.

College Events

BHAWANIPUR has a whole lot of extra curricular activities we experience around 5-20 activities every month the campus life here is really amazing because of such good and structured campus. The annual fest known as 'umang' is the biggest college fest in Kolkata.

Campus Life

In Kolkata BHAWANIPUR college has one of the largest and most grossing library among the colleges. Sports facilities are really well modified and they have each and every indoor sports including billiards, table tennis etc

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
