Remarks

The college provides a lot of co-curricular opportunities for its students which helps in the personality development of the students.The Faculty is also very good.The college also has one of the best libraries with a great collection of books- be it academic or non-academic.The administration of the college tries to provide its students with the best facilities suitable for their development.It also listens to our feedback and suggestions and takes appropriate actions for the same.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.The course curriculum is as per Calcutta University so the faculty have to teach as per it's curriculum but most faculties try to give us the updated knowledge. 2.The Faculty is very nice and the lectures are interesting.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

The Placement and ajob Opportunity provided by the college is quite good.As I'm just a 3rd Semester student I haven't applied for any but heard about it from my seniors.

College Events

The college organises the maximum number of events than any other college in the city.Various colleges take part in the events.Events of all type including Management, Cultural,etc are held.The College also conducts various seminars for its students.

Campus Life

1.The college has an open Jio WiFi network but it's daily limit is 34mb/user 2.The college has one of the best libraries with vast variety of books. 3.Both Curricular and Non-curricular books are available 4.There are internet enabled PCs for students

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
