Remarks

It's accreditation to various organisations like NBA, NAAC -A GRADE and many more.It foreign connection is quite good that's the reason I got the internship in Canada for 3 months with complete stipend from living to traveling. Every college has some flaws and it's too has but now nothing matter

Course Curriculum Overview

It's all ok type nothing new same as other colleges. Faculties are not so good as per expectations.Course syllabus are updated time to time and if we talk about industrial experience then prefer not to say because no experience.

Placement Experience

Capegmini, hexaware, Accenture,kaar, Mindtree, musigma, DXC, and etc. The placements are good as our placements cell focus more than anything.

College Events

College conducted many activities on weekly basis or monthly but they of no use as few participate in these events due to pressure of attendance. Culture events are good ex LAVAZA, YASH they all are held in our college.

Campus Life

It's quite good and all facilities are provided by the college are good expect no AC in the college as it is in Chennai so it is must.It has department library where you can get all the books related to engineering.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota.
