Remarks
Being a reputed Government runner University and College and it is acknowledged worldwide. Also for its very low fees and top class infrastructure compared to many other Government College in the country comparing the fees it takes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is government based and the curriculum is same old education system based only. Being honest if you are in any government college in Gujarat you can't get enough industrial exposure. The facilities are well read and very very Kind. One on the faculty in EC department in VGEC, Amit Agrawal Sir is very great teacher in terms of knowledge as well as understanding a student, and is very kind and supportive to every student.
Internships Opportunities
I had opted for various internship including National Engineering Olympiad, Optiminatic, Frapp, SuperGaming but they were off college. You don't get and internship from college, but if you get the college gives full support to it.
Placement Experience
Some famous companies are TCS, einfochip, Silver Touch, Tatva Soft. The student placed are approx 15-25 per company. The placement process quiet simple as seniors have said. The Alumni Networking is decent for job referrals.
College Events
The campus life great, in spite if you choose EC then you will have the best every campus life. The technical and cultural fest happen almost alternate years. Not much about festivals. The festivals whenever happens are mostly college only event not major participation from other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can avail various government scholarship. But the best one that suits all is MYSY. For general students it gives books scholarship, for hostellers it also gives hostel scholarship and food scholarship.
Campus Life
The campus is huge but not as much some other colleges in Gujarat, it has decent sports facilities, decent labs and huge classrooms, in spite there is a fair amount of wifi speed in the whole campus. The library is very small and is not equipped with AC, but labs are proper.
Hostel Facilities
No I haven't opted for Hostels. The Hostels are decent enough. There are 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. There is no wifi in hostel. It's sharing based for 3 students. There are very few hostel seats based on the rank.
