Remarks

The ratings and reviews of VNIT was very good as I have gone through diffrent websites including Collegedunia.com also. So I thought that it will be a good place for me to study here and explore more opportunities. The thing that I like most is the lush green campus for which it is famous.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes we were provided with good industrial exposure as we had went for industrial visit. Course syllabus are updated. Almost all the faculties are good. Our department faculties are little bit strict for assignments and giving marks in exam. We have to do the lot of assignment in small period of time.

Class Size: 93Course Fees: INR 4350 per year

Placement Experience

There are good job opportunities and different types of companies visit our college for campus placements. Placement process consists of three rounds online test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Placement department works hard and efficiently for students. L&T Construction visited our campus for Civil Department and selected five students.

College Events

Campus life was too good as there are different departmental lawns. AXIS(Technical fest) and Aarohi(Cultural) are the two college festivals. Around 200 organizers are there in each fest. They get the participation of around 2500 including all the events.

Campus Life

There are only few places were wi-fi is available like in Applied Mechanics Department and Hostel area. Size of the library is good. All the books are available for reading and studying. Our electrical labs have good amount of equipments and all are new and sensitive.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT.
