Remarks

It's the best college in Ranchi. It has great campus. It has fest every year. The curriculum is the best. It has Rotoract Club which is an international club for curriculum. The discipline is strict. The study is nice. You can have placements. The place is clean. Campus is big. There is no bullying at all.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our HoD of Computer Science is a very nice and supportive person. In our department the exposure is pretty good but can't say it's the best. The course is updated. We have five subjects in first sem- Discrete structure, Programming language, English communication, Maths and Stats. Computer Science has fixed optional and BCA and BIT are in the same room.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Placement Experience

A lot of companies like TCS come to our college especially Computer Science department. In the final year, there are lot of internships. There would be interview in the final year for placements. It's not the best at placement but surely best in Ranchi.

College Events

We have cultural club called Rotoract Club so all the events are managed by them. Technical fests also happen and we are in the Coding Hub WhatsApp group. XavierUtsav is a three day fest during February which has a lot of events and last day we all have group dance in field.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are good. We have CC lab for computer department which is very good,it have AC and good lighting and the computers are good. Library is a big one. In some building Jio SIM blockage is there and we have to pay for college wifi.

In this college there are so many courses you have in your personal interest the curriculum and exam structural is great but since this policy affiliated to Ranchi University the exams are taking too much time. Srinath university is a good college overall but in developing stage. It will be very better in upcoming years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc chemistry is a very diverse course in which onr can go in teaching line to M.Sc in biochemistry to become medical college professors and also can go in technical line like metallurgical department and others. Thats why I choose this course. The accessibility to do hands on practical in the laboratory influenced me to choose B.Sc chemistry in srinath university

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
