MCC is known for providing integral education and holistic development . These ideologies resonate with me as i like to balance my academics with my extra curricular activities. I choose MCC because highly credited professors like Dr. rajakumar give lectures

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is up to date with subjects like business economics management mathematics and accounts. I feel that the 2nd language is hard to catch on because the teacher used words that are difficult to understand

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 122400 per year

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are pretty great at the mount carmel college . Big companies like golmansachs EY DELOITTE AND pwC come for campus recruitment. The highest package last year was around 6 lakhs per year

College Events

The campus life on Mcc is pretty fun. We fill like a huge girl gang. The college holds a great fest called Cul-ah, its known as the queen fest in banglore where around 80 fields of participation are available

Campus Life

The campus of MCC has all the facilities available like, auditorms, science labs, well equipped classrooms, cafeteria, sports ground etc. it's also has a chappel and area for practicing skills like dance music etc

Hostel Facilities

I have opted for pg the average amount per month is around 7k- 12k. The hostel is hard to get into. Few pg's around Mcc namely are golden girls pg aashirvaad pg and zolo. The range depends on the facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

A good college for starting your new journey

I did apply to BHU and Delhi university and also Christ university. I did get accepted to Christ and the other i didn't make it. My reason for not going to Christ was only that I felt MCC would be a better choice for me in case of everything. The other colleges I didn't make were because of my CUET results and also few of them I did not even check as the results came out too late. The admission eligibility is just getting a 60% in your 12th and then an interview will be set up and if one gets selected they will recieve an email regarding so and then they need to pay the given fees. MCC - A college of Dreams

I applied in Christ University for a B.Sc. in Biotechnology but did not end up going to Christ when I heard about it's cons that it focuses more on its outer image rather than imparting quality knowledge.
