Remarks

Management is all done by the Municipal Corporation.It is knon to have the largest turnover in money each year.So college is well maintained, cleaned.Dean and other faculty members are good in helping students regarding academics.They manage the problems of students.

Curriculum is all that you cannot challenge.Its awesome. All experienced teachers and other staff adds to its efficient teaching zone. Teachers are quite co-operative.You also get a lot of practical exposure, So its awesome to be a part of this institute.

Internships Opportunities

Internship of one complete year is provided in the college itself.They post you in various departments, and other city hospitals attached to Nair hospital.Student gets a good stipend of 5, 800 rs/-. You get good exposure to patients and you are taught lot many things practically. Its really worth.

Placement Experience

You can attach to same hospital by interview procedure.You need to achieve good qualifications for that.You need to achieve MD or MS degrees as there is lot of competition.You can also join here as AMO(asisstant medical officer).He gets a good pay of about 50000/-per month. And for it you need to be MBBS doctor.Yoh can also opt for various hospitals nearby. As the UG is done from this recognised institute, you can be selected quite easily by other hospitals for job. This is all due to curriculum here. You can get a pay of about 50000/-per month if you become a Pg student in any of the department. So there's no issue of job as such.You are going to earn if you become MBBS.

College Events

Aarambh-this is one of the biggest festivals celebrated across the city. Stars are invited as guests. You also get many inspirational lects from successful people of this field. Students participation is all that adds beauty to it. You wont get such festival else where.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for OPEN Category student is 48, 500yearly or 24, 300 for each semester(for 6months). OBC students and students belonging to SC/ST category need not to pay fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

They dont avail any.You have to contact local NGO's who would help financially.Only open category students are given fee reciepts which they can provide to NGO'S to avail the benifits of scholarship programmes.Other students dont may try fo their other expenditures.Tata foundation is known to provide it on basis of your curriculum performance.So You need to worry about money, even you live in city like mumbai, if you are good enough in curriculum.You can get helo, if you work hard.

Campus Life

Campus is well located in Mumbai central area.Its really awesome spot. You have a local railway station near college and bus stops.So you can travel within less time with least amount of expenditure.Competitions are often arranged on various events like college festival, or any other national day.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel accomodation is awesome located at Haji Ali sqaure. Best location and cleanliness are prime attractions.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are quite helpful.You wont find any ragging being done here.Students are helped a lot by their seniors .We have a students gymkhana council of which students can be a part of.They can then use their position for welfare of college students and help in festivals .

I choose the course because I wanted to become doctors from most prestigious college of India. I didn't get seat in AIIMS Delhi so then I choose this college as it is near my home town. The students faculty ratio is 70:12. All the faculty are passed out doctors so they are highly qualified and they teach us in such a way that no need to ask for any doubts. The university conducts exams after every 3 months and we all have to work very hard to pass the exams.
