Remarks

Vasavi College is one of the best Engineering in Hyderabad. It has very good placements history. I have a travel journey of only 45 min at most from my home to college. It has NBA Accreditation. Is is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well structured and has enough industrial exposure by providing opportunity to do Internship at a Company during the final semester. Vinay kumar sir has really taught Robotics Process Automation with good hands on even in the times of pandemic. SWAYAM-NPTEL recognizes Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad as "Best New Local Chapter" and rated as "AA" for the period July - December 2019. Six UG Programmes of VCE Accredited for the third time by NBA from 10-04-2017 to 30-06-2020. Three PG programmes also accredited.

College Events

We have a 3 day big fest every year:- 1st day Acumen, which is a technical festival. 2nd day Traditional day, all of us be in Traditional look and have dance performance by the outgoing batch. 3rd day Euphoria, consists of many events: dance and song performances, DJ at night, guest is invited for the event (say Comedian Sunil for Euphoria -19). We do have cricket, basketball, throw ball, chess etc competitions between the branches (say CSE vs ECE) and also between the other colleges

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholar ship were their for Economically backward students. Swayam cell collects money from all the students and give it to the needy students in require.

Campus Life

Equipment in labs have no issues and working in good condition. We were always provided with the required individually. Size of the library is considerably very good. Wi-fi was also good. Sports facilities were also provided for limited time during college working hours and unlimited during during non-working hours of college.

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college,we get placement training from our 5th semester and in 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements, the highest package they mentioned was 60lpa. Over the placements are good and you need to get 65% in your exams for the eligibility of campus placements

The College placements will be available eligible for the students of 4th-year 1st semester there is a number of companies visited almost 100 companies like TCS Infosys for exam and there is a highest package of 40 lacks per annum and average package 6 lakhs per annum and there is a placement of about 98 percentage and my plan is after getting the degree is to get a job in a multinational company

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, you are well eligible for placements. Various company's and firms get into some famous like Amarchand and so on. As an intern, you are not getting that big salary offers but you get a good and sustainable amount of money for work. I think the highest package was offered as 18lac per annum and the majority stick to 13 14 lakhs. 100% of students get placements if they have performed well in every semester. I've decided to work one year as a clerk with a judge and then on to do my master's in law from abroad.

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
