Remarks

College of National importance. NIT name is just enough and placements are great. Don't have anything else to say here. 2nd best college in Maharashtra after IIT Bombay and college collaboration with industry is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

Every year companies like L&T,Tech Mahindra, Goldman's Sachs etc visit the campus for placements. The average placement salary in VNIT is 9lakhs per annum which is great. The alumni network is quite good and they keep on helping the students both financially and mentally.

College Events

The Campus is Green and anyone will feel happy to live in such place. It is properly maintained. The hostels are also very good and clean. There is one night canteen to satisfy your hunger during night times, especially during exams. One Juice Center, which has good variety of fruits and juices. Its a good place to hangout. Canteen is Okay. There is a health center, having morning and evening working hours. The Sports Facilities are good, with one big ground and one indoor sports complex.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate.
