Remarks
The ranking of the college is really good. It is an institute of national importance and has a beautiful and vast campus. I think the college is one of the safest places in the city as there are security guards almost everywhere. Everyone is very helpful in nature.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus was good but not at par with the current technology, but I think the same is the case with other IITs and NITs as well. The college planned one site visit for my batch and the number of site visits increased for my junior batches. The faculty is excellent. Everyone has detailed knowledge of the course they are teaching. Almost everyone has a PhD from an IIT or other reputed institution.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly core branches people have to look for internships outside the campus. These are a lot of internship opportunities from the campus itself for Computer Science and ECE people. Some companies also allow other branches but it is very difficult to get selected.
Placement Experience
Many good companies visit the campus for placement. They offer all kinds of profiles: Business Analyst, Software Engineer, Management, Core etc. The current Training and Placement department works fine but there is scope for improvement. Alumni Association also helps to get companies to the campus.
College Events
The campus life was the most favorite part of my life. So many events are conducted of all types, like Institutional Gathering, Departmental Gathering and you also get to organise college fests. They are the most memorable times of your college life. There are all types of clubs and one can join any number of them in which he is interested in.
Campus Life
There is a very big ground for sports and it has all the courts: basketball, volleyball, kho-kho, cricket pitch. There is a very big sports complex where there is Badminton court, Tennis court and table tennis also. Wi-Fi is available in the library building which consists of 3 floors and is one of the most beautiful buildings of the college. The labs have almost every instrument for performing experiments and every year they keep on bringing something new.
