Remarks

The college is located in Nagpur where my current address is. I have many relatives in Nagpur. I got my specified and interested branch- Mechanical Engineering in VNIT. My parents advised to stay in Nagpur for B.TECH. Degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

Not enough industrial exposure. The Infrastructure is fine. Faculties are senior and hold good knowledge about subjects. They are strict sometimes. But the lectures are fine and they try to show models as well.

Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know about the placements exactly. But most of my seniors are getting placed. Some startups are planned within the campus like BUYNEXTDOOR, which focuses on easing the supply and demand of student needs within the college campus.

College Events

Technical and cultural activities are carried with zest. Aarohi and AXIS have a good participation from Nagpur. They have a good connection with Alumni and support. The entrepreneurship Collins also growing.

Campus Life

Sports ground is available. Tennis, badminton and other indoor sports are played in separate building. Library size is fine but needs to be more spacious. Labs are in working condition. Some building are old and some new building are built. Auditorium is being renovated.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

My Experience at VNIT Nagpur

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT. The addmission process to get in at VNIT Nagpur is very simple you just have to go through JEE mains Exam and have to secuse atleast 96 percentile if you are an general candidate.
