Basically I was having choice of doing preparation for any competitive exam after my class 12th or took admission in any local college here to do under graduation and that I didn't want so while surfing google I come across iiser and the mode of admission in it and it is where I decided to take admission in it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since IISER offer integrated course in basic science and it is of 5 years so here you get basic knowledge of all general science concepts and subjects means in your minor year that is first 2 year of your course you study all the subjects and from third year onward you choose your major in which you want o do research work.
Placement Experience
No placement. There is 0% placement rate of iiser mohali this is bcz it is not an engineering college it is a basic science research institute where students come here to pursue career in research. Mainly students do phd after their int ms
College Events
IISER Mohali is excellent in its extracurricular activities and celebration of festivals. They increase students thinking ability and personal development through quizzes, seminars and various events. Freshers and farewell are organized. Annual fest and foundation day are also celebrated.
Campus Life
sports facilities is at best in our college iiser mohali we are having separate stadium for every sports and flood lights. There is a gym in hostel-5 which is hving all the gym equipments which a private gym like oasis have. wifi is of good speed. library have hardcopies and softcopies of all books.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, we have to stay in hostels it is mandatory. We have hostels with spacious rooms, working elevators and cleaning workers. All the basic facilities such as cupboard, almirah, studying table, balcony, chairs and table are there in the room.
