Remarks

I choose this college because it is under Calcutta University and known by everyone as well as the education system is also good. And it comes under 8 rank in kolkata and it is morning college so the time is suitable for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well it's good and favourable. Late fees is very cheap and union members are very helpful. They help students at the utmost care and very much supportive. No political issue and teachers were also very helpful.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is also in a basic level, many companies like flipkart, Amazon and branded companies are also came for recruitment

College Events

Campus events are also very good, many different kinds of event like sports event, festival events have also taken place. Students can participate with their own mates or friends, games were also played in a fair and square matches

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
