United- Nurturing Tomorrow

Management has been rude sometimes to the demands of students but nevertheless it is the case of every organization. However it is only the body that keep our college alive and make it going on and on.

I sat for the Uttar Pradesh Technical University entrance test. Rank was not good but I was in no mood of wasting my time so I chose this college in my first preference as this was near to my home also.

The curriculum was decided by Uttar Pradesh Technical University which was in accordance with the most advanced technical studies. Very tough but very knowledge giving too. All the subjects and practicals were of high standard as taught in IITs and NITs.

No. My college doesn't provide any type of internship. However it rewards outstanding candidates in academics and also invites students of schools and colleges for quiz competitions and awards them.

Placements is good for IT branches but for rest branches the students may not be getting their desired job. It is not like that core companies doesn't visit United Institute of Technology but actually they rarely visit it. In my time IT companies visited the most like HCL, Wipro, TCS but being en electrical engineer I didn't want to go to an IT company so I didn't sit for the placements. However I got a job in my sector afterwards all thanks to the knowledge I received from my college.

Technical fest of United Group of Institutions is famous all across Uttar Pradesh and many other college also participate in it. Besides it welcoming of freshers, farewell to final year students is also given. The technical fest hosts many types of activities including robotics, games session, co-curricular activities.

Fee structure of college is on an average side. One can afford a technical course in United Institute of Technology. I myself belonging to an average family afforded this college and now I am proud to call myself an electrical engineer. I was very happy to see many of my fellow students who were very weak economically and getting fee waiver from the college.

Scholarship are given to toppers and relaxation in fees is given to economically weak students. Loan facilites is also available for students who wish to take it. Our college has tie up with most of the government as well s private banks for this facility.

Every college life is good and the most precious moment one student can live. The same is the case in my college too. Gender ratio is also good as girls nowadays are going for technical courses too. Generally one week find local students only but even if someone is from outside also then there is no problem. I myself was from Bihar but studied in United Institute of Technology which is in Uttar Pradesh.

Hostel amenities are good but food can be given an average rating. Rooms are well ventilated with all basic amenities like beds, almirah, table, chair, fans, tube-lights for the week being of students. Regular visits by college director is done to ensure that there is no problems being faced by his students.

Alumni meet occurs at the end of every year. One can find their old friends and juniors and seniors if they visit there. I have never been in any Alumni due to my job issues but I have heard of it that it is really nice and wonderful.

Sessional exams at an interval of 2 months and then semester after 6 months. After semester practical exams occur. Special exams for weak students are also taken. Exams are taken on a really strict basis in order to test each and everyone's capability to what they have grabbed during their classroom session.

Faculty has been good and honest to their work but if you want to know some extra you will have to study on your own. It's not like that they will not help you but if you equip yourself more than being dependent then it will lead you to better results.
