Pulkit's Review On United Institute Of Technology - [UIT], Allahabad

My college has never been bad to me. I really really love my college and will again like to live that life if get a chance to with my lovely friends and world's best teachers.

I sat for the Uttar Pradesh- State Entrance Examination for technical studies in 2009. I scored around approx. 300/600 but ranking was not good enough. Even though I got United Institute of Technology which is a premier college in technical studies. The faculty, infrastructure and environment of the college attracted me towards it.

I opted for Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the college. The course was in accordance with the latest technology and advancements of the present era as well as the past and future scope. Each and every subject of the stream has its own importance leading to a skillful and complete provision of knowledge.

The college internship has been really nice and we were exposed to visit many premier organizations for summer training to get equipped with the latest technologies and advancements within the present era.

Placements has been nice with a whopping package of upto 6 lacs/annum. Many electrical, mechanical and most importantly IT sector companies visited our college giving an average package of 3.6 lacs/annum.

The college events that were celebrated in our college follows as the-1. Tech Fest- Enigma2. Samman Samaroh3. Sthapana DiwasMany famous personality also visited our college during these fests such as Chetan Bhagat, Euphoria band etc.

Fee structure for the technical courses are touching skies but our college provides an affordable education for everyone. Also, many scholarships are also provided for the meritorious students.

Yes. Scholarships are available for the meritorious students. Also, our college has strong tie ups with many banks offering education loans at feasible interest rates.

The extracurricular activities, labs, sports and competitions are the most best things I found in my college. We were having sports competition in various fields like cricket, volleyball, basketball etc. Many indoor games like chess, carom boards were also there. Labs has been good enough to provide you a good practical exposure.

Hostel covers a good area near to the college. There are two hostels separate for girls and boys each having its own mess. The food quality cannot be compared to the home made food but comparable to the food of homes. All in all food can be given a good rating.

Alumni meet happens every year and all passed out students are welcomed there from the core of the heart of the college. They are provided gifts and the respect they will never find anywhere.

The exams structure has been in accordance with the latest academics and pattern followed throughout India and within most of the top colleges. There were 3 sessional exams alongwith the pre-semester and final semester exams within a span of 6 months.

Faculty has been really nice and humble towards their work as well as students. They were fairly dedicated to their work and gave their full to make every sense of the student fulfilled with the knowledge they had. Also, if someone needed some extra attention then they were always their to help us.
