Shivam Katiyar's Review On Pranveer Singh Institute Of Technology - [PSIT], Kanpur

Now PSIT has a quite good campus spreading across 80 acres, with an extraordinary infrastructure you would rarely see. It has air-conditioned classrooms which even colleges like AKGIT don't have. It has a fleet of approx 25 AC buses covering all the parts of Kanpur. The hostels are clean and well maintained with both AC and Non-AC facilities. The faculties are cordial and they will cross the lines to help you in every way possible. Many faculties are well qualified having a PhD degree, some with a Mtech and some Btech too. It is quite a good college especially for Computer Science as there is a sharp increase in the coding culture. In my batch, 18 students bagged an offer worth 8 LPA due to this.

The faculty of the college are very supportive and caring. They help us to sort out our problems and help us in clearing our doubts and help us to get rid of problems easily. They also teach us the same topics more than 2 to 3 times when we are not able to understand. The extracurricular activities are English training and other languages Training. The are separate computer labs for separate branch and all other subjects related are there separate for all separate branches. The faculty are highly trained and skilled, with most of them having specialization in their domain. Around 480 lectures per subject are delivered in every semester, along with lab sessions and hands-on experiences. The minimum qualification of faculty is M.Tech, and most of them having PhD and published several research papers in respective domains.

Placement Cell here helps students in every way possible in landing on a job. Placement ratio here is constantly rising and recently Flipkart came in the campus and offered the package of 18 LPA to a CSE stream student. Companies do visit the campus so all you have to do is hustle in a proper way. The average package here is 5-8LPA. Mostly the placement is done for CSE and IT students. Recently EC students are also getting placed but rest all courses don't stand much in the race.

You feel better in PSIT campus there is no headache. There are lot of events organized in college like janmastmi, independent day, Christmas,Holi etc and if we talk about on extracurricular activities like chess , carrum , cricket , basketball etc are also available for students with specific Coach

The college doesn't offer any scholarship opportunities to students, but the University does. The eligibility criteria is the family income of students should be less than 200000 per year. The procedure to apply for scholarship is completely online, and the students have to submit relevant proofs of income and proper identity proofs to avail scholarship. It amounts to about 50000 per year.

College Infrastructure The college provides you lush green environment and the infrastructure is also well Established and well built. Each classrooms and labs are air conditioned with proper lights and good ventilation. The auditorium is really huge and well furnished. The sports ground is also well maintained.

I want share some experience of hostel life .first thing infrastructure is amazing ,all environment also good.if you want freedom like bird .you don't expect from Psit hostel.its a boundaries, limitations,from my point of view .2nd thing if you are non-vegetarian so very complected to survive Psit hostel .only you can get vegatrian .it's better option to take a room from outside because you vill be free an what do you want you can do like study ,but in this hostel life so boring .you are girl ofcourse all girls are jelious from you .what you wear dress,what are you doing .so outside you are depended yourself ..I was trying that day I am also outside from hostel but my parents not allowed .
