Nice college in very low fees

College is an excellent value for money, but the only thing lacking is that the college management is not very serious about the quality of exposure and placements.

CAT 96 PercentileI chose this as other options I had at that time were so so colleges. And UBS has so low fees. It has a great atmosphere of Panjab University.

It was good. International Business is a very god course but lacks opportunities for jobs. But at UBS we got a good platform placements. It was the time of economic slowdown but still I managed to get a good placement from the college.

It was a good experience overall as there were many companies that came in our campus and conducted interviews for the internship. Most of the students got selected in good companies though the stipend was low on an average. We can say that the average was approx. Rs. 15000 PM.

Placements were good as the college has a huge alumni base of its own. So mostly people at good positions in good companies who have passed out from UBS are very supportive.

The events at the college were of different nature : from business subjects to cultural ones. I had a great time participating in all of them. It was a great learning experience.

The fee structure is the best part of the college. It has one of the lowest fees in the country for any MBA course. It is in the range of thousands as compared to lakhs in other colleges.

I cannot say anything about this as I dont think anyone needs loan for a few thousand bucks, though there are no scholarships as such.

Campus life is nice as it is again shared with the entire university. Sports, gym, etc are all great. There is a swimming pool also. We have participated in various university activities such as debates, declamations etc.

Hostels were good though not very well managed as it is in sharing with the complete University students from various courses. The food was very good and not expensive at all. The rooms in first year were two person sharing and in second year single occupancy.

Yes again this is the best thing for having a more than 40 years old college. We have the best alumni base that we can boast of. People are at great companies at great positions.

Exams were in the manner of University only as it is a department. The paper was set up by top teachers of university and also checked by them only. It was in a traditional way only.

They were all very good and highly qualified. It is the only college for MBA in India with all teachers PhD. We had a good learning experience with all the teachers. The only thing lacking from their side was that they did not push us for studies or activities.
