Remarks

The infrastructure of college , availability of course , the ambience of the college and facilities are good. Wanted to go to a new place far from my home , the course is fine. availability of a practical knowledge since it's a medical college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The facilities and the faculties are good. Since it's a medical college we get exposure. And practical knowledge. The course is good similar to business studies and falls in commerce stream has subjects like marketing, planning, accounts, health economic etc.

Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

We can apply in different places for job after completing pg. We get good training which helps in practical knowledge. Final year students have viva and kind of internship. Not aware of any placements.

College Events

Our department has less of celebrations as compared to other departments. We in the year of 2019-2020 had fresher's day , a4c ( art4charity) , palliative care camp , and few other celebration of various medical days.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are available from the bank. They provide a certain percentage of discount for students with good marks (85/90+)

Campus Life

The facilities are quite good. Paid wifi , gym , football ground , big library , hostel has 4&6 sharing , cafeterias- 3 + , Library has Xerox and online Library facilities , very good technical support and the timings are very comfortable for the library.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel building includes 3 floors , 2 type of sharing 4&6. 4 is quite big but requires additional payment. A mess /. Canteen which has timings. And also 2 shop.inside the hostel. , Hostel facility is almost available easily.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

Firstly I choose this college for my better courier in my course.So over other colleges this is far better and perfect for me. I applied for this college through their official website and attended eligibility exam through this I have received my admission confirmation letter and admission process.
