internship is beneficial

ISME is a very student friendly college and student focus attention is provided. The college has highly experienced faculty. And as to grow as a corporate professional I think more International seminars and industry exposure will help. I am a current PGDM First year student in ISME and my admission was taken on the basis of merit. The MAT scores was taken into consideration and a competitive GDPI session was taken on 26th of January,2020 in West Bengal. I preferred this college over others because the infrastructure is good and it is one of the top leading B-schools in India and the placement record is quite good. Before taking admission I have gone through some reviews given on ISME on Collegedunia and Shiksha website

I chose this course because PGDM is a good career building field and to opt it as a long term future plan will take me to greater heights. Management professionals are required everywhere. The student faculty ratio is quite high and good. Highly experienced faculties are ready to serve us with their knowledge personal mentorship is always available. Maximum teachers are PHD scholars and have been students of some premier institutes of India. The teaching method is highly commendable because we are pushed to the limits for conceptual thinking and conceptual thinking is one part which is highly paid attention to. There are in total 6 trimesters and after mid term completion within one week end term starts and the syllabus are completed before time only.

Internship is provided at the end of first year and the duration is of 3-4 months. Projects like six sigma are also done.

From end of semester fifth, students are eligible to sit for placement interviews. Highest placement has been offered is 18 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Reputed companies visit for quality selection. Maximum students are placed in ISME. My plans after getting the degree is to work for good reputed company for 5-6 years and will think of my own business.

Fees structure is reasonable because management exposure is been given here and ISME takes students to Singapore for industry exposure and the students with maximum grades are provided with a scholarship of being taken to London School of Economics.

BUSIBUZZ is the annual management fest conducted every year and it happens on the month of January. Online books are provided along with all the other study materials. All the standard facilities are provided with smart classrooms and good hostel residential facilities. Sports and Yoga is a compulsory part of the program. Many extra curricular activities are encouraged over here. There are Four social clubs in which participation is a must. Theses are Communication Club, Literary Club, Corporate Social Responsibility Club, and Entrepreneurship Cell in which different activities are designed so that innovation brings out in every activity.

All the basic amenities are provided with quality furnishings and hygiene is always maintained in rooms and restrooms too. Food quality is very good and healthy and vegetarian food is maintained within the campus. Registration was asked at the time of admission as hostel booking amount and its quite affordable with all such facilities. I have opted for hostel.

GD topics were based on current affairs and PI was done on some personal background questions, domain knowledge and current affairs and practicality of the knowledge. Preparation was done good before the interview and the interviewer also made us feel comfortable so that we were not nervous
