Manipal University is the branch of Manipal Academy of Higher Education(MAHE). As It is one of the best private colleges in Rajasthan providing quality education to the students, There are vast careers options to go for. Manipal has a great infrastructure, very well built classrooms, library, sports area, cafeterias and so many facilities. The admission process is not tough, as there's no long procedure, the staff is a helping hand to students who are unaware of the system. The admission policies are far flexible as compared to other colleges as It starts from March and It ends by July. The application form is filled on college's site, and then registration and at lastly a interview. MANIPAL should be preferred over others because It helps the students to grow as a human being and most importantly, as an academic-achiever by helping them experience the sweet-sour taste of the outer world and it really becomes a "home" to those who study here.

I chose B.com hons in Accounting as I want to work in the field of Accountancy with a vast knowledge and it opens the gate of ample opportunities for me for the future. The student faculty ratio is approximately 1:16. The faculty is experienced and has worked in the corporate sector or other institutes prior to joining Manipal University. Mostly every faculty has completed their Ph.D in their specified fields. Their teaching method is comprehensive and are open to all the students regarding their study-related issues. In the commencement of every semester, they provide students with the course hand-outs and the lecture plan- the topics that they will cover in their lectures. The mid terms are taken with a a gap of around one month(in a semester), and the semester ends with End term exams which are weighted more. The difficulty is average, considering every student's skills and performance.

Students become eligible from their fifth semester right after they complete their internships in second year. Number of companies visit Manipal and the number is increasing year by year, the top recruiters are Accenture, Amazon,American Express, Dell, Microsoft, Wipro, Philips and many more. The average package is 5-8 lpa and the highest is around 42 lakhs lpa by amazon. The percentage of students getting placed is 90%. After completion of my degree, I will pursue my ACCA Degree and work in a corporate company for experience.

The fees hike policy is increase in fee by 4.4% approximately every year. The course fee for the year 2020-2023 is INR 2,12,500. The scholarship name is TMA Pai Merit scholarship- for the student scoring higher aggregate marks of 90%, gets a 100% waiver, for the student scoring higher aggregate marks of 80%, gets a 50% waiver, and for the student scoring higher aggregate marks of 75%, gets a 25% waiver in the annual fee. Rajasthan Merit Scholarship- The student must have 80% of aggregate marks in 10+2, to be eligible the student has to be a student of a school in Rajasthan. And scholarships for the local region students, differently-abled, wards of martyrs of defense personnel, wards of single mother and orphan child are also provided by the college.

The annual fest conducted in Manipal is Oneiros, it is conducted in the month of October every year. And the tech fest of Manipal is Techideate conducted in the month of March. In Manipal library, there are thousands of books available for the students,they are organised section-wise and are pkenty in number by different authors. whereas, the classrooms have projectors for the teachers to teach the students in a digitalized way, the classrooms are air-conditioned and the furniture is comfortable to sit. There are so many sport activities held in the college, we have a fest for sports-ABHIVARTA, there's field for playing football, rugby, tennis and volleyball. In addition, there are a large number of clubs for the students according to their interests, TMC,Litmus, Choreographia,Aperture, YES+and Rotaract are some prominent clubs.

There was personal interview taken by the faculty over the phone call, but there are possibilities that interview can take place offline also. I was asked certain questions regarding my academic performance and to check my aptitude and intelligence. Firstly, the interviewer asked for my introduction, by questioning-"Tell me about yourself?" then, "why did I choose Manipal and have thought of pursuing Bcom hons in Accounting?" and at the end, asked me three questions about 12th accounting to check my proficiency in the particular subject. I did prepare by revising all the matter of class 12th and started to posses some confidence while preparing.
